Wanted to clean up my portfolio of old work, but not completely remove it from my website so I’m making a series of blog post that will preserve them.
This first environment was probably the second thing I made in Maya.
Based on this image:
And put into a simple uE4 environment.
Notice how the cherry blossoms in the tree are just 2D images on planes!
Texture Map - Hand Painting in Photoshop, didn’t really know how seams worked at the time. Was just learning the joy of overly layers and layer styles.
