This environment showcases an accurately crafted A-10 Thunderbolt in an underground hangar environment. The story behind this environment is that it is a hideout and refueling station for humans living in a post-apocalyptic world.
All assets were modeled in Maya and rendered in UE4. Texturing was done using Photoshop.
My goal with this Otium is to create a virtual environment that simulates a dreamscape that is a visualization of how the subconscious manifests itself in our dreams.
Inspiration was drawn from various surrealistic science fiction work as otherworldly beings are typically representative as deities in these works.
Created with VR systems in mind, this project is developed for the Google Daydream and is planned to be integrated with VRChat.

For this 10 Week collaboration with SCAD and the Esri, a Geographic information systems company, myself and a team of talented colleagues designed and prototyped Augmented and Virtual Reality applications that can be used with the Microsoft Hololens and HTC Vive respectively.
These prototypes utilized Esri's ArcGIS geographical data to visualize various statistics in a 3D virtual environment. These applications also prototyped how this information can be utilized by the average consumer.
My role in this project, as a 3D Artist, was to conceptualize and create 3D interfaces for this data to be displayed onto and environments where the user may be able to view this data in an immersive way. I worked closely with the AR and VR programmers in the creation of art assets to assure they are game ready and optimized for the target hardware.

An American Dream (AR Project)
An American Dream is an Augmented Reality app projected directed by Cody Samson as a political PSA campaign. I had a role in developing the base AR functionality for the app using Vuforia and Unity3D to create a product to ship on android devices.

VR Hong Kong Immersive Film
This first project was a 3 month contract position working with a VR studio in Hong Kong. The goal of the project was to make a brief cinematic experience for VR.
A collection of projects that were a collaboration between a team of people, including myself.
Abandoned Test Chamber
I worked with a small team as the environment artist to create a VR Horror environment for a brief VR/AR experience in Unity. The overall project lasted 4-6 weeks and took place in Hong Kong during my time studying abroad. The finished product was exhibited at "VRHong Kong". Hong Kong's first ever Virtual Reality Convention.
While working with this team I was in charge of creating an environment that was to scale with an actual space that the player could walk around in using motion tracking.
I was also tasked with importing and implementing animation sequences into Unity and became very familiar with Unity's Animator. I also took part in desiging the experience itself, by making a storyboard for the scene that unfolds and a layout of the level.
Collaboration project between a team of 4 to create an environment for a VR project in Unity. My role in this collaboration was to gather and arrange assets in unity. I was also tasked with creating the rock faces for the cliffs. I also created the fog effects and setup lighting.
